Nominee #1
She is a nurse currently working various roles and does so with so much care and compassion. She recently also assisted her mother who fractured her ankle and could not bear any weight on her leg for a prolonged time. Even more recently she has taken on the care of her father and assisting him with end of life decisions and assisting with placement in a rehab facility to hopefully improve. Needless to say she has had an enormous amount on her plate but still manages to make time for her two young daughters, taking them on trips and accompanying them on day care field trips. If anyone needs a moment of relaxation, it is her.
Nominee #2
She is the family rock for providing for 2 with disabilities. She has no fear taking on this huge task as more floods her plate! She is an amazing human which we call mom!
Nominee #3 (2 submissions)
She's an excellent mother of 4. She has a daughter with a rare condition but besides doing everything for her she has time for the other three children.
She pushes through with a smile on her face as she cares for her daughter with a rare condition. She is a mom of 4 but you would never know she is taking on the medical mom position as she is always doing things for and with her children! She is a dedicated mother of 4 and a loving wife. Her husband probably deserves to be nominated too! She never asks for pity or complains. Instead, she uses her journey to educate others and involves her children teaching them the way of caregiving too. She needs to take time for herself!! She deserves this massage!
Nominee #4
She is not only a great nurse but a loving mother to two great girls and a very patient wife! She has had back problems over the years and any chance she can get some relieve, she welcomes it.
Nominee #5
She is always the first to step up when anybody is in need. She is the definition of selfless. She took over handling my wedding when I was overwhelmed. She watches anybody's kids or dogs to be helpful.
She is a mother of twin 6 year old boys, and just recently a wife. Married at the courthouse to save money. Currently, she is living at her brother's house to be his main caregiver after suffering a stroke. This keeps her away from her own family, and it also keeps her from making any money, as she would make money from cleaning houses or dog/house sitting.
She not only is caring towards people, but also to the animal world. She's rescued many wildlife creatures including ravens, raccoons, baby birds, and groundhogs. She's adopted dogs and cats in poor loving situations. She worked at vet offices to provide care to animals. She has a great heart, and is sometimes stretched too thin because she cares too much. Her family lives a humble lifestyle, and she would appreciate a day to put herself first for once.
Nominee #6
He works in construction 5 out of 7 days and 12 hours daily. When he comes home immediately hits the couch or wants to just sleep, being the main income at home isn't so easy. He deserves a relaxing day for once because even on weekends he helps take my grandma to places as she's starting to get in her senior years and makes sure me my sister and brother make it to work. He's a dad just trying to make it day by day with his family and helps us apart from his work which is already enough.
Nominee #7
She is a hard-working optometrist who runs (with her husband) a family-owned business in the Kennett Community. She also teaches classes at the YMCA keeping fit while promoting the healthy lifestyles of others. She tends a community garden and generously shares the veggies and flowers with friends and neighbors. To top it off, she is a loving wife and mother of FOUR sons! She is constantly cooking healthy meals and baking for friends and family. She is a genuinely good, thoughtful, selfless individual and I am lucky to have her as a friend. She is extremely deserving of a complimentary massage and would be thrilled, honored and grateful for this gift!
Nominee #8
She is a registered nurse. She is outstanding and caring for people. She's been a nurse for many years and also took care of both of her grandfathers during their illnesses. She's always there for everyone. Her patients love her and also her fellow nurse mates.
Ever since she was three years old, she knew she wanted to be a nurse. She never changed her preference. It was always. I want to be a nurse.
She's truly special.

These Peace Lilies!
PROOF that if you have good roots, believe, have amazing support and friends that care, you can survive ANYTHING!!!
The peace lily plant was given to me as a grand opening gift in 2009 by the Late Dr. Kem Moser and his wife Gale. The note read, "May this plant grow and thrive as your business grows and thrives." NO PRESSURE THERE, MOSERS!!! I kill every plant!
BUT, every time the plant would wilt or look sick, I would take care of it and then figure out what I needed to do to help my business. This plant grew and grew as my business did also. It grew so much that I was able to split it several times and share the plant and story with many people.
The night of the fire, I saw the two pots holding the saddest peace lilies I have ever seen. Black, mushy leaves and covered in soot. I told the fireman I need those pots. His response, "they are dead." I said, "I know they look dead, but I have faith the roots are good. If the roots are good, they will grow."
After a few days, Claire took them into her care. They began to grow to our surprise! They did survive! They did have good roots! Yippee! Then, tragedy struck again. Sadly the greenhouse holding my peace lilies and a lot of Claire's precious plants had an issue with the heater. Everything froze. It was the end. I reached out to Aly who was gifted a piece of the peace lily and asked if I could possibly share hers and take a piece back. She was more than happy to do so and brought the whole plant to me. I had all intentions of splitting it and giving her half back when all of a sudden I get a message from Claire. In Claire fashion, "Well, I guess you can't keep a good B*tch down. They re-bloomed."
I am happy to say that the peace lilies are back home here in the office and Aly's was returned to her in full form!
THANK YOU FOR MY ROOTS, believing in me when I couldn't believe in myself, and all of my caring friends, family, clients and community for supporting me and KSQ Massage! You're all the best!!
